Thanks for coming to check out my new blog! I'm the Mom of an almost 6 year old daughter that was born with a severe dairy allergy. She had to be taken to the hospital at 3 months old because she was wheezing and had a rash all over her body. Around the age of 3, her allergy lessened from a 4 to a 2 on the allergy scale so she is not severly allergic but does have a sensitivity and her nose can get very stuffy if she eats dairy. To be on the safe side, I keep it out of her diet except for the occasional treats at parties of special events. My husband soon realized that he was lactose intolerant around this same time and so "Dairy Free" we became. I still eat dairy but I don't cook with it or if I do it is very minimal. I hope to share recipes, ideas, and good/bad products to buy if you are choosing to eat Dairy Free. I'd love for you to leave me comments about your experiences and ideas.
Thanks
Devon
